The Music
The band strives to present music from a broad spectrum of sources,
including many original compositions. Traditional bluegrass from the
Louvin Brothers, Bill Monroe, and Cliff Waldron is mixed with tunes from
such pop or folk artists as John Prine, the Beatles, the Left Bank, and
Prince. Western swing music gets blended with bluesy jazz from
Commander Cody, Lester Young, Fats Waller, and the Central Park Sheiks;
and periodically the band will bring you back to its instrumental roots with
traditional country dance tunes featuring twin fiddles. You won’t want to
miss this acoustic journey through America’s musical legacy.
